Webmail lets you read and send mail at your domain in any browser, without a mail app. It belongs to your Windows hosting service and runs at your own domain.
Open webmail
- In the Mail tab of your service page, select Open Webmail. You can also go straight to
https://webmail.example.com/, with your own domain in place ofexample.com. - Sign in with the full E-mail Address and the mailbox password.
The address works once your domain points to the server. If you have no mailbox yet, create one first; see email on Windows hosting.
Read and send mail
Your folders are Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Archive, Junk and Trash.
- Reading: HTML mail is cleaned before you see it, and images from other sites stay blocked until you select Show Images.
- Sending: you can attach files, within the 50 MB limit, and a copy goes to Sent.
- Tidying up: you can flag several messages at once, and Delete moves a message to Trash.
- Leaving: on a shared computer, select Sign Out when you finish.
Verify: send a message to your own address and read it in your Inbox.
Troubleshooting
Webmail does not accept the sign-in. The user name must be the full address, not only the part before @.
The webmail address does not open. Your domain must point to the server first; see point a domain to your server.
