Webmail lets you read and send mail at your domain in any browser, without a mail app. It belongs to your Linux hosting service and runs at your own domain over HTTPS.

Open webmail

  1. In the Mail tab of your service page, select Open Webmail. You can also go straight to https://webmail.example.com/, with your own domain in place of example.com.
  2. Sign in with the full mail address and the mailbox password.

The address works once your domain points to the server. If you have no mailbox yet, create one first; see email on Linux hosting.

Read and send mail

  • Reading: your folders, such as Inbox, Sent and Trash, are the same ones your mail app sees over IMAP.
  • Sending: write a message, attach files and send it; a copy goes to Sent.
  • Leaving: on a shared computer, sign out when you finish.

Verify: send a message to your own address and read it in your Inbox.

Troubleshooting

Webmail does not accept the sign-in. The user name must be the full address, not only the part before @.

The webmail address does not open. Your domain must point to the server first; see point a domain to your server.
