More room for demanding Windows workloads: nested virtualization for Hyper-V and WSL 2, larger vCPU and memory allocations, NVMe SSD storage and Administrator access over Remote Desktop, with a free IIS web server, a free mail server and free migration on every plan.

A Windows VDS is our higher tier of Windows servers: nested virtualization, more vCPU, more memory and NVMe SSD storage. That extra headroom matters for SQL Server databases, ERP and accounting systems, Hyper-V and WSL 2 labs, and IIS servers that host several busy sites.
You still work the way you know: Remote Desktop as Administrator, the Windows Server version of your choice and the same client area for invoices and support.
NVMe SSD storage shortens query times and backups for SQL Server and other disk-heavy applications.
Add the Hyper-V role, run WSL 2 on Windows Server 2022 or 2025 or use emulators: nested virtualization is available on VDS plans.
Connect from Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS or Android with a Remote Desktop client and the Administrator details we email you.
IIS is part of Windows Server: add the Web Server role to host ASP.NET, .NET and static sites.
Windows VDS plans list a free mail server, so business mail can run next to your applications.
Windows Server 2025, 2022, 2019 and 2016 are available; the order form lists the images ready to install. Windows Server 2025 is supported by Microsoft until November 2034.
VDS plans are our higher tier, with larger vCPU and memory allocations than our VPS plans for busy databases and applications.
Every plan includes a dedicated IPv4 address for your domains, SSL certificates and firewall allow lists.
Free weekly and monthly backups come with every plan. For data that changes every day, keep copies of your own as well.
Moving from another host? Tell us what you run today and we will reply with the steps to move it to your new server, free of charge.
Need room for data, logs or backups? Add disk space in the order form without moving to a bigger plan.
Choose a data center in the United States, Europe or Asia. The order form estimates the latency from where you are to each location, so you can pick the closest one.
Give SQL Server the memory and NVMe storage it needs for fast queries and short maintenance windows.
Host the Windows server behind your ERP, CRM or accounting software and reach it securely from every office.
Run ASP.NET Core applications, background services and APIs on IIS with room for traffic peaks.
Host Azure DevOps, Jenkins or TeamCity agents for Windows builds, installers and automated UI tests.
Use nested virtualization to add the Hyper-V role for test labs and training, or run Linux tools under WSL 2 next to your Windows applications.
What every plan on this page shares. vCPU, memory and disk size differ by plan and are listed with each plan above.
All three give you root or administrator access. They differ in size, storage and how much of the hardware is yours.

Every version below can be installed on your server and is shown with its support status. The order form lists the images available for each plan.
Dashed versions are legacy or end-of-life: their vendor no longer ships free security updates. We still install them for software that needs them; choose a current version for new servers.

A Windows VDS (virtual dedicated server) is a KVM virtual machine running Windows Server with nested virtualization available, larger vCPU and memory allocations and NVMe SSD storage, for databases, business applications, virtual labs and sites that need more than a VPS.
Choose a VPS for smaller sites, tools and test environments. Choose a VDS when you run SQL Server, ERP or several busy sites, or when you need Hyper-V, WSL 2 or emulators inside the server: VDS plans add nested virtualization, larger allocations and NVMe storage.
Yes. Nested virtualization is available on VDS plans, so you can add the Hyper-V role, install WSL 2 on Windows Server 2022 or 2025 with the wsl --install command, or run emulators that need the processor's virtualization extensions. Nested machines run slower than ones on the hardware itself, so they suit development, test and lab work best.
We email the IP address and the Administrator details as soon as the server is ready. Connect with a Remote Desktop client: it is built into Windows, and Microsoft offers the Windows App for macOS, iOS and Android, while Linux users can use Remmina or FreeRDP.
For a new server, choose Windows Server 2025: Microsoft supports it with security updates until November 2034. Windows Server 2022 is supported until October 2031, Windows Server 2019 until January 2029 and Windows Server 2016 until January 2027, so pick older versions only when your software requires them. Windows desktop images are also available.
Windows Server includes two simultaneous Remote Desktop sessions for administration. If more people need to work on the server at the same time, the server needs the Remote Desktop Session Host role.
Use a long, unique Administrator password, keep Network Level Authentication on and install Windows updates promptly. Limit Remote Desktop to your own IP addresses in Windows Defender Firewall, and for teams put it behind a VPN instead of exposing it to the whole internet.
Yes. SQL Server Express fits small databases, and the Standard and Enterprise editions suit larger ones.
Yes. Every plan on this page includes one dedicated IPv4 address, so your server is reachable directly and you can point domains, SSL certificates and firewall allow lists at it. If your project needs more addresses, contact us before you order and we will tell you what is possible.
Yes. Migration is free on every plan on this page. Tell us what you run today and where it is hosted, and we will reply with the steps to move it to your new server. Keep your old service until everything works on the new one, then switch over when you are ready.
Yes. Free weekly and monthly backups are included with every plan. For data that changes every day, also keep copies of your own, for example with an off-site backup tool, so you can restore exactly the version you need.
Yes. This server line is covered by our refund policy: cancel within 30 days of payment and ask for a refund. Payments made in cryptocurrency are final, and the refund policy explains the details.
You can choose Windows Server and Windows (desktop). The list on this page shows every version we install, with its support status; the order form lists the images available for each plan.
Yes. You can run Plesk Obsidian and SolidCP; each one is listed on this page with the systems it runs on. Panels in the order form show their price there.
You choose the location when you order: Dallas US, New York US, Los Angeles US, Frankfurt DE, Helsinki FL, Istanbul TR and Singapore SG.
Every plan lists the billing cycles it is offered with. Switch the cycle above the plans to compare prices; longer cycles show the saving against monthly billing when there is one.
