What every VPS line shares

Your own virtual machine

Each VPS is a virtual machine with its own vCPU, memory and storage, sized by the plan you choose.

Root or administrator access

Root over SSH on Linux, Administrator over Remote Desktop on Windows, and Screen Sharing with SSH on macOS.

Unlimited bandwidth

Every plan lists unlimited bandwidth, so there is no traffic tier to choose when you order.

Backups included

Free weekly and monthly backups come with every plan. For data that changes every day, keep copies of your own as well.

Choose your location

Linux and Windows VPS run in the US, Europe and Asia, macOS VPS in the US and Europe; pick yours in the order form.

Extra disk space

Add disk space in the order form on every line, without moving to a bigger plan.

Room to grow

Move to a bigger plan, or to a VDS with NVMe storage and nested virtualization, when your project grows.

Start with a VPS, move to a VDS when you need more power or your own virtual machines, and choose a dedicated server when you need the whole machine.

Need more power or your own VMs?

VDS plans add larger allocations, NVMe storage and nested virtualization. Dedicated servers give you the whole machine.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question? Send us a message and our team will reply by email.
What is VPS hosting?

VPS hosting gives you a virtual private server: a virtual machine with its own share of processor, memory and storage on our infrastructure. Unlike shared hosting, nobody else uses your server, and you get root or administrator access to install and configure whatever your project needs.

How is a VPS different from shared hosting?

With shared hosting, many websites share one server and its settings. A VPS is your own virtual machine: you choose the operating system and the software, you can run background processes and custom services, and other customers' traffic does not change how your server is configured.

Which virtualization do your VPS plans use?

Linux and Windows VPS plans are KVM virtual machines, so each server runs its own kernel and operating system. macOS VPS plans run on Apple hardware, and the Apple silicon line uses Apple's Virtualization framework.

Which VPS should I choose?

Choose by operating system first: Linux for most web stacks, containers and APIs, Windows for .NET and Windows applications, macOS for Xcode and Apple platforms. Then pick the plan size; you can move to a bigger plan or a VDS later.

What is the difference between a VPS and a VDS?

Both are virtual servers with root or administrator access, the same kind of images and the same locations. A VDS adds nested virtualization, so you can run your own virtual machines, Hyper-V, WSL 2 or emulators inside it, and comes with larger vCPU and memory allocations on NVMe SSD storage. A VPS is the affordable starting point.

How do macOS VPS and Apple silicon macOS VPS differ?

macOS VPS plans are listed online with live prices and offer macOS Catalina to macOS Tahoe in the order form. The Apple silicon line is prepared on request for macOS Monterey to macOS Golden Gate 27 and Xcode 27; Apple releases macOS Golden Gate 27 and Xcode 27 only for Macs with Apple silicon.

Where can my VPS be located?

Linux and Windows VPS plans run in Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, Frankfurt, Helsinki, Istanbul or Singapore. macOS VPS plans run in Dallas, Los Angeles, Amsterdam or Frankfurt. You choose the location in the order form.

Can I upgrade my VPS later?

Yes. Move to a bigger plan as your project grows, or to a VDS when you need more power or nested virtualization. Disks cannot be made smaller, so moving to a smaller plan means a backup and a fresh server.

Are backups included?

Yes. Free weekly and monthly backups are included with every plan. For data that changes every day, also keep copies of your own, for example with an off-site backup tool, so you can restore exactly the version you need.

Can I get a refund on VPS plans?

Yes. VPS plans are covered by our refund policy: cancel within 30 days of payment and ask for a refund. For macOS services any setup cost is deducted from the refund, and payments made in cryptocurrency are final.

Which operating systems can I choose?

You can choose Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, CentOS Stream, CloudLinux OS, Fedora Server, openSUSE Leap, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Alpine Linux, Arch Linux, Kali Linux, Gentoo, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Windows Server, Windows (desktop) and macOS. The list on this page shows every version we install, with its support status; the order form lists the images available for each plan.

Can I add a control panel?

Yes. You can run cPanel & WHM, Plesk Obsidian, DirectAdmin, CyberPanel, aaPanel, HestiaCP, CloudPanel, Virtualmin, Webmin, ISPConfig, FASTPANEL, Control Web Panel, ispmanager, SolidCP, Coolify, CapRover and Dokploy; each one is listed on this page with the systems it runs on. Panels in the order form show their price there.

Which billing cycles can I choose?

Every plan lists the billing cycles it is offered with. Switch the cycle above the plans to compare prices; longer cycles show the saving against monthly billing when there is one.

How do I pay?

Choose one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Every invoice also stays available in the client area, where you can pay it online.

Where do I manage my service after ordering?

Your service appears in the client area as soon as it is set up. From there you can manage it, pay invoices and open support tickets.
