Give your iOS and macOS builds more room. macOS VDS plans run on Apple hardware with larger vCPU and memory allocations and NVMe SSD storage, ready for big Xcode projects, parallel simulators and always-on CI runners in the United States or Europe.

Large Xcode projects, Swift packages with many dependencies and test suites that boot several simulators all want more cores, more memory and fast storage. macOS VDS plans give you all three on Apple hardware, in the United States or Europe.
Use one as a shared CI runner for your team, as a release machine for signing and uploads, or as a powerful remote Mac for a developer who works on Windows or Linux.

Fast storage for Xcode indexing, derived data and simulator images.
Larger vCPU and memory allocations for parallel compiles and test runs.
Available on macOS VDS plans, for tools that need to start their own virtual machines inside your Mac.
Register the Mac as a self-hosted runner for GitHub Actions or GitLab, or as a Jenkins agent, and automate builds with fastlane.
Use Screen Sharing for the desktop and SSH for the terminal, from Windows, Linux or another Mac.
Add a dedicated IPv4 address in the order form when your builds or services need a fixed public address.
Your Mac runs on Apple hardware in our data center, so Xcode, the simulators and code signing work as they do on a Mac on your desk.
Choose the macOS version in the order form to match the Xcode release your project needs; the table below shows which Xcode each version runs.
Every plan lists unlimited bandwidth, so there is no traffic tier to choose when you order.
Free weekly and monthly backups come with every plan. For data that changes every day, keep copies of your own as well.
Xcode, simulators and derived data grow fast. Add disk space in the order form instead of moving to a bigger plan.
Need macOS 27 or Xcode 27? Apple releases them only for Apple silicon, and our Apple silicon Macs are prepared on request.
About Apple siliconXcode follows macOS closely, and App Store Connect asks for recent Xcode releases. Use this table to match the macOS version you choose in the order form to the Xcode your project needs.
| macOS version | Newest Xcode it runs | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| macOS Tahoe 26 | Xcode 26.6 (Xcode 27 needs Apple silicon) | App Store uploads and current projects |
| macOS Sequoia 15.6 or later | Xcode 26.3 | App Store uploads and current projects |
| macOS Sonoma 14.5 or later | Xcode 16.2 | Development and testing with Xcode 16 |
| macOS Ventura 13.5 or later | Xcode 15.2 | Projects that stay on Xcode 15 |
| macOS Monterey 12.5 or later | Xcode 14.2 | Projects that stay on Xcode 14 |
| macOS Big Sur and Catalina | Older Xcode releases | Legacy projects and testing |
Since 28 April 2026, App Store Connect accepts apps built with Xcode 26 or later. From April 2027, apps must be built with the iOS 27 SDK, which comes with Xcode 27 and runs only on Macs with Apple silicon.
Archive your app in Xcode, sign it with your team's certificates and upload it to App Store Connect for TestFlight and release, without a Mac on your desk.

Run your pipeline on a Mac that never sleeps: a self-hosted GitHub Actions or GitLab runner, or a Jenkins agent, with fastlane for signing and uploads.
Run XCTest suites and UI tests across iPhone and iPad simulators on every commit, and keep the results next to your build logs.
Cross-platform frameworks still need a Mac for the iOS build. Add one to your Windows or Linux workflow for Flutter, React Native, .NET MAUI or Unity projects.
Build, sign and notarize macOS apps and installers, and test them on the macOS versions your users run.
What every plan on this page shares. vCPU, memory and disk size differ by plan and are listed with each plan above.
All three are Macs in our data centers that you reach remotely. They differ in size, storage, nested virtualization and the newest macOS and Xcode they run.

A macOS VDS (virtual dedicated server) is a virtual Mac on Apple hardware in our larger tier, with nested virtualization available: more vCPU, more memory and NVMe SSD storage for big Xcode projects, parallel tests and CI runners that work all day.
Choose a VDS when builds take too long, when you run several simulators or test suites in parallel, or when the Mac serves a whole team as a CI runner. More cores shorten compile times, and NVMe storage speeds up indexing and derived data.
We email the connection details as soon as your Mac is ready. macOS includes Screen Sharing, which any VNC client can open, and Remote Login for SSH and SFTP; both are in System Settings under General and Sharing, so you can work from Windows, Linux or another Mac.
Choose the version that runs the Xcode release you need. Xcode 26, which App Store Connect has required for uploads since 28 April 2026, needs macOS Sequoia 15.6 or later. The order form lists the macOS versions each plan offers.
Yes. You need your own Apple Developer Program membership and a supported Xcode: since 28 April 2026, App Store Connect accepts apps built with Xcode 26 or later. From April 2027, apps must be built with the iOS 27 SDK, which comes with Xcode 27; Xcode 27 runs only on Macs with Apple silicon.
Yes. Register it as a self-hosted runner for GitHub Actions or GitLab, or as a Jenkins agent, and automate builds, tests, code signing and uploads with tools such as fastlane. Because the Mac stays online, jobs can run at any hour.
Within your team, yes: one person at a time controls the desktop through Screen Sharing, while others can use SSH and CI jobs can keep running. For parallel desktop work, give each developer their own Mac.
Yes. A dedicated IPv4 address is an option in the order form. Choose it when your Mac needs a fixed public address, for example for webhooks from your Git server, allow lists of build and signing services, or direct SSH access from your own tools.
Yes. Xcode is an app, so you can install several releases side by side, for example with a tool such as xcodes, and switch the active one with xcode-select. Keep an eye on disk space: every Xcode release and simulator runtime takes many gigabytes, and you can add disk space in the order form.
Yes. Nested virtualization is available on macOS VDS plans, so tools that start their own virtual machines can run inside your Mac. Nested machines run slower than ones on the hardware itself, so they suit development, testing and build tools best. Tell us what you plan to run if you are unsure which plan fits.
Yes. Free weekly and monthly backups are included with every plan. For data that changes every day, also keep copies of your own, for example with an off-site backup tool, so you can restore exactly the version you need.
Yes. macOS servers are covered by our refund policy: cancel within 30 days of payment and ask for a refund. For macOS services any setup cost is deducted from the refund, and payments made in cryptocurrency are final.
You choose the location when you order: Frankfurt DE, Los Angeles US, Dallas US and Amsterdam NL.
Every plan lists the billing cycles it is offered with. Switch the cycle above the plans to compare prices; longer cycles show the saving against monthly billing when there is one.
Choose one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Every invoice also stays available in the client area, where you can pay it online.
Your service appears in the client area as soon as it is set up. From there you can manage it, pay invoices and open support tickets.
