Shoutcast and Icecast radio hosting

Internet radio hosting is a streaming server for your station. You send your live audio or let the AutoDJ play your music, and the server delivers the stream to every listener's browser, app or media player.

Both deliver your stream to listeners and work with most broadcasting software. Shoutcast is widely supported by radio directories, players and apps; Icecast is open source and also supports open formats such as Ogg Vorbis and Opus. If your encoder or a directory you want to join expects one of them, choose that one.

AutoDJ plays the music, jingles and recorded shows you upload, following your playlists and schedule, so your station stays on air when nobody is broadcasting live. The size of your AutoDJ storage depends on your plan.

Each plan includes a number of listener slots: the number of people who can listen at the same moment. The plan table lists the slots per plan; if your audience grows, move up a plan.

The bitrate is your stream's audio quality. Each plan sets the maximum you can broadcast: lower bitrates suit speech, while 128 kbps is a common quality for music. Set your encoder to the plan's maximum or lower.

Yes. We do not count the traffic your stream uses. The listener slots and the maximum bitrate of your plan set the limits instead.

Yes. Use the embed code to add a player to your own website, or share your custom station page. Because the stream URL uses HTTPS, it plays on secure websites without mixed-content warnings.

Any encoder that supports Shoutcast or Icecast works, for example BUTT, Mixxx or SAM Broadcaster. Enter the server address, port and password shown in your panel and start your broadcast.

You are responsible for everything your station streams, including the music, shows and recordings you play. Our Acceptable Use Policy sets out what may and may not be streamed on our services, so please read it before you go on air.

Yes. Internet radio hosting is covered by our refund policy: request cancellation within 30 days of the transaction and contact us for the refund. The first payment after a free trial is not refundable, and payments made in cryptocurrency are final. Our refund policy lists the full terms.
