Satisfactory server hosting for your co-op factory

Keep your factory online for the whole team. A Satisfactory dedicated server runs your save without a host player, lets Steam and Epic players build together and keeps running with nobody online when you turn off auto-pause.

  • Steam and Epic players on one server
  • 4 players supported, more through Game.ini
  • Saves, autosaves and restarts in the Server Manager
  • Community mods with Satisfactory Mod Manager
PlayersRaise MaxPlayers in Game.ini or on the command line; the server is tuned for 4, so more players can cost stability.
4 by default and supported
Ports7777/TCP carries the server API, 7777/UDP the game traffic and 8888/TCP reliable messaging since update 1.1.

CPUThe official wiki asks for a single-thread score of at least 2000.

Server size

How much RAM does a Satisfactory server need?

Single-core speed decides how big your factory can grow. The official wiki asks for 8 GB, and 16 GB for big saves or more than 4 players.

Mods and versions

Saves, players and mods

Run the factory the way your team plays.

Claim the server

The first player adds the server in the Server Manager, names it and sets the admin password; a player password is optional.

Saves and sessions

Create a new game or upload a save in the Server Manager, and set the autosave, auto-load and restart intervals.

Pause or keep running

Choose whether the server pauses when nobody is online, and whether it saves when a player leaves.

More than four players

Raise MaxPlayers in Game.ini or on the command line; 4 is the supported default.

Steam and Epic

Steam and Epic players share dedicated servers; console players cannot join them.

Community mods

Satisfactory Mod Manager installs mods on the server. Players need the same mods, and big updates can break them.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question? Send us a message and our team will reply by email.
How many players can join a Satisfactory server?

4 by default, which is also the officially supported number. Raise MaxPlayers in Game.ini or with a command-line argument; the server is tuned for 4, so more players can cost stability.

Can console players join a dedicated server?

No. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions, out since November 2025, cannot use dedicated servers, and there is no crossplay between PC and console. Steam and Epic players can share a server.

Which ports does a Satisfactory server use?

7777 on TCP and UDP, plus 8888/TCP for reliable messaging since update 1.1; most connection problems after 1.1 come from 8888 not being open. Ports 15000 and 15777 are no longer used.

How much RAM does a Satisfactory server need?

The official wiki asks for 8 GB, and 16 GB for big saves or more than 4 players. The CPU should reach a single-thread score of at least 2000, such as an i5-3570 or a Ryzen 5 3600.

How do I claim the server?

Add it in the Server Manager in the game, then name it and set the admin password. Until it is claimed, nobody can start a game on it.

I forgot the admin password. What now?

Delete the ServerSettings file named after the port, such as ServerSettings.7777.sav, and claim the server again. This also resets the server name, the player password, auto-load and the certificate.

How do I upload my save?

In the Server Manager, open Manage Saves and upload the save file.

Can I use mods?

Mods are not officially supported yet, but the community’s Satisfactory Mod Manager installs them on dedicated servers. Players need the same mods, and big updates such as 1.2 break mods until they are updated.

Why does the game warn about a certificate?

The server uses a self-signed certificate, so the warning on your first connection is normal.

Can the factory run while we are offline?

Yes, when you turn off the auto-pause option in the Server Manager. The server then keeps the game running with no players connected.

Ready to grow your factory together?

Tell us your team, save and mods, and we will help you pick the right Satisfactory server.
