What a racing server needs
A good race night depends on a stable connection, the same content for every driver and sessions that run on their own.
Low latency for close racing
Wheel-to-wheel racing needs a stable connection. Choose the location closest to most of your drivers from our ۲۰ game server locations.
Cars and tracks
Mod cars and tracks are named by the server and installed by every driver. Share one content pack with your league so everyone has the same files.
Sessions that run on their own
Set practice, qualifying and race lengths in the server configuration, and the server moves through the sessions without an admin.
Grid size
The grid size depends on the game and, in some games, on the pit boxes of the track. Plan the server for your full grid on race night.
Rules, assists and penalties
Passwords, admin rights, allowed assists and penalties are server settings. Set them before your first event.
Same version everywhere
Drivers need the same game version and content as the server. Update the server and your content pack together.

Frequently asked questions
Do drivers need the same cars and tracks as the racing server?
Yes. The server sets the cars and the track, and every driver needs them installed. Share a content pack or a download link with your league before race night.
How many drivers can a racing server hold?
It depends on the game, and in some games on the track’s pit boxes. Each game page lists the limit.
How much RAM does a racing server need?
Racing servers are usually lighter than survival or sandbox servers. The game pages give a size table for each game; mod content adds disk use, and several servers for different classes add up.
Can practice, qualifying and the race run automatically on a racing server?
In most racing games, yes. Set the length of each session once in the server configuration, and the server moves from practice to qualifying to the race on its own.
Can I run BeamNG.drive multiplayer on a racing server?
Yes, through BeamMP, the community multiplayer mod for BeamNG.drive. Players join with the BeamMP launcher.
Which location is best for a racing league?
The one in the middle of your drivers. Game servers run in ۲۰ locations; for an international league, compare the latency of each driver before the season starts.
Setting up a league or a race series?
Tell us the game, your grid size and where your drivers are, and our team will suggest a setup.
