IPMI access
Close to Canadian users
A dedicated server in Canada keeps latency low for users across Canada and the northern United States. It is also the simple answer when your customers, your contracts or your own policies ask for Canadian hosting.
Both size classes in the Canadian range are Intel Xeon servers with IPMI access, unlimited bandwidth and round-the-clock support.
- Websites and stores for Canadian customers
- Data that should stay in Canada
- Backends for apps used in North America
- Download and media servers
What Canadian servers include
Intel Xeon processors
Efficient Xeon E3 and many-core Xeon E5 servers for websites, databases and virtualization.
IPMI access
Every Canadian configuration includes IPMI for power control and a remote console.
Unlimited bandwidth
Monthly traffic is not counted against a quota on the Canadian servers.
SSD storage
SSD drives, from a single disk to two drives on the larger server, as named in each listing.
Extra IPv4 addresses
Each server includes an IPv4 address and takes additional addresses in the order form.
24/7/365 support
Our team is available around the clock through a support ticket in the client area.
Full control of the machine
Root or Administrator access to the whole server, with the operating system of your choice from the list on this page.
OS and rescue images
Install Linux, FreeBSD, Windows Server or Proxmox VE; rescue and test images are in the order form's list too.
Hosting in Canada
Servers located in Canada keep your data in the country when customers, contracts or policies ask for Canadian hosting.
What customers run on dedicated servers
Busy websites and online stores
Host high-traffic WordPress, WooCommerce, Magento or custom applications on hardware that is yours alone. Tune the web server, PHP workers, caches and the database to your traffic instead of to a shared platform.
Databases and analytics
Give MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL or Elasticsearch the memory and disk throughput of a whole machine, with no other customer competing for the same disks.
Your own virtualization host
Install Proxmox VE or another hypervisor and split one server into virtual machines or containers for your team or your customers.
Media, downloads and backups
Serve video and downloads from servers with large monthly traffic, or keep backups and archives on disks that stay under your own control.
Build servers and test environments
Run CI runners, build farms and test environments on hardware you do not share, so build times stay the same from one run to the next.

Learn moreFrequently asked questions
Why host a dedicated server in Canada?
A server in Canada keeps latency low for Canadian users and the northern United States, and keeps your data in Canada when your customers or your contracts expect it.
Where in Canada are the servers hosted?
If your project needs a specific city, tell us before you order and we will confirm where the configuration you choose is hosted.
What does IPMI access give me?
IPMI is an out-of-band management interface: you can control power and open a remote console even when the operating system does not boot, which makes recovery much easier.
Is bandwidth really unlimited?
The Canadian configurations are listed with unlimited bandwidth, so monthly traffic is not counted against a quota. If you plan a constant, very high load, tell us before ordering so we can match the right server.
How long does it take to set up a dedicated server?
It depends on the configuration and its location. When a server lists a delivery time, that is the time to expect; otherwise we prepare the server after your order is paid and email the login details as soon as it is ready. If you have a deadline, contact us before ordering.
Can I add more IPv4 addresses to a dedicated server?
Yes. Most dedicated servers have an "Additional IPv4 Addresses" option in the order form, priced per address. Tell us in a ticket if you need a larger block and what you will use it for.
Is DDoS protection included on Canadian servers?
The Canadian configurations do not list DDoS protection. If protection against attacks matters for your project, choose a server in the United States, Frankfurt or Istanbul that lists it in its features, or ask us about the options before you order.
Do Canadian servers include IPv6?
IPv6 is not listed for the Canadian configurations, which include one IPv4 address each. If your project needs IPv6, ask us before you order. Servers in the United States and South Korea include a /64 IPv6 block next to their IPv4 addresses.
Which operating systems can I choose?
You can choose Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Oracle Linux, CentOS Stream, CloudLinux OS, Fedora Server, openSUSE Leap, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Alpine Linux, Arch Linux, Kali Linux, Gentoo, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, NetBSD, Windows Server, Windows (desktop), Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi, Hyper-V Server and XCP-ng. The list on this page shows every version we install, with its support status; the order form lists the images available for each plan.
Can I add a control panel?
Yes. You can run cPanel & WHM, Plesk Obsidian, DirectAdmin, CyberPanel, aaPanel, HestiaCP, CloudPanel, Virtualmin, Webmin, ISPConfig, FASTPANEL, Control Web Panel, ispmanager, SolidCP, Coolify, CapRover and Dokploy; each one is listed on this page with the systems it runs on. Panels in the order form show their price there.
Can I add more IPv4 addresses?
Yes. Additional IPv4 addresses are available as an option when you order.
Which billing cycles can I choose?
Every plan lists the billing cycles it is offered with. Switch the cycle above the plans to compare prices; longer cycles show the saving against monthly billing when there is one.
How do I pay?
Choose one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Every invoice also stays available in the client area, where you can pay it online.
Where do I manage my service after ordering?
Your service appears in the client area as soon as it is set up. From there you can manage it, pay invoices and open support tickets.
