Business apps on a server you control

Run the tools your team uses every day on your own server: CRM and ERP, team chat and video meetings, web analytics, email marketing, online communities and the PHP scripts you bought for your business. Each runs on a HyperDC VPS, VDS or dedicated server, preinstalled as an app option or installed with our guide.

  • Odoo, SuiteCRM, EspoCRM and Twenty
  • Mattermost, Rocket.Chat, Matrix and Jitsi Meet
  • Matomo, Plausible, Umami, Mautic and Listmonk
  • Windows VPS for MetaTrader 4 and 5

Business App Hosting

Every app runs on a HyperDC VPS, VDS or dedicated server with full root access. Plans appear on each page as soon as they are online.

Why run business apps on your own server

Software as a service is quick to start. Your own server keeps the data, the settings and the costs in your hands as the team grows.

Your data on your server

Customer records, conversations and reports stay on a server you control, in the location you choose.

Email that arrives

Connect the app to an SMTP or transactional email service and add SPF, DKIM and DMARC to your domain, so invitations and notifications reach the inbox.

Root access, your rules

Every Linux VPS, VDS and dedicated server comes with full root access: you choose the versions, the add-ons and the security settings.

Preinstalled or with our guide

Choose the app as an option when you order and it is installed for you, or set it up yourself with our step-by-step guide.

Backups included

Free weekly and monthly backups come with every VPS and VDS plan. For data that changes every day, keep copies of your own as well.

Locations on three continents

Run your server in the United States, Europe or Asia, close to the people who use it. The order form estimates the latency from where you are to each location.

Room to grow

Start on a VPS and move to a bigger plan, a VDS with NVMe storage or a dedicated server when your data and users grow.

Dedicated IPv4 address

Linux and Windows VPS plans include a dedicated IPv4 address for your domain, your TLS certificate and your firewall rules.

Frequently asked questions

Still have a question? Send us a message and our team will reply by email.
Why self-host business apps instead of using a cloud service?

Your data stays on a server you control, in the location you choose, and you decide when to update. You size the server for your team instead of paying per user, and you can connect the apps to each other and to your own systems without the limits of a hosted plan.

Which editions can I run?

Each app runs in its community edition on your own server, and editions with extra features, such as Odoo Enterprise, run there as well. Each app page names the editions and what they need.

Can several apps share one server?

Yes. Run each app in its own container behind a reverse proxy, with its own subdomain and certificate. Keep Jitsi Meet and Odoo on servers with headroom of their own: video and ERP workloads grow quickly with users.

How do the apps send email?

Through an SMTP server or a transactional email service that you connect in the app’s settings. Add SPF, DKIM and DMARC records to your domain so invitations, notifications and campaigns reach the inbox.

Can I sign in with our company accounts?

Many of these apps support single sign-on with LDAP, SAML or OpenID Connect, depending on the edition. Check the app page and the project’s documentation for the method you use.

Do you offer Windows servers for trading platforms?

Yes. A Windows VPS runs MetaTrader 4 and 5 around the clock, so Expert Advisors keep working while your computer is off. See the Forex VPS page for sizing and locations.

Who keeps the apps updated and backed up?

You do, with full root access, and free weekly and monthly backups come with every VPS and VDS plan. For databases that change every day, also schedule your own dumps and keep a copy off the server.

Is port 25 open on my VPS?

Outbound port 25 is closed by default on HyperDC VPS. For services ordered for a term of 3 months or longer, we open it on request: open a support ticket. Until then, send through an SMTP relay on port 587. A relay or email service also helps your mail reach the inbox.
