Dedicated Mac Studio and Mac mini servers
Rent a physical Apple silicon Mac in our data center and keep every part of it to yourself: the processor, the GPU, the memory and the storage, with an administrator account of your own. Build and sign Apple apps, run CI around the clock, serve AI models or render video on a Mac that no other customer shares.
- A whole Apple silicon Mac, never shared
- Your own administrator account
- The full GPU through Metal, no virtualization layer
- Docker Desktop and virtual machines allowed
- HyperDC Web Console, Apple Remote Desktop or Remote Connect

The whole Mac, just for you
A dedicated Mac is the physical computer, not a virtual machine on shared hardware. That changes what you can run on it.
Dedicated hardware
A physical Apple silicon Mac Studio or Mac mini serves only you, with an administrator account of your own. No other customer uses its processor, GPU, memory or storage.
The full GPU through Metal
Apps reach the GPU through Metal with no virtualization layer in between, for rendering, video and machine learning.
Virtual machines and containers
Docker Desktop and virtual machines are allowed: run Docker Desktop, the Android emulator or macOS and Linux virtual machines on the Mac itself.
Three ways to connect
Use the HyperDC Web Console in your browser, Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) or the HyperDC Remote Connect app.
Online around the clock
Your Mac stays on in the data center, so CI jobs, render queues and background services keep running while your laptop is closed.
Your keys on your own machine
Keep signing certificates, API keys and source code on hardware that no other customer uses.
What teams run on a dedicated Mac
Xcode builds and iOS and macOS CI
Run Xcode builds, unit and UI tests and simulators on a Mac that is always on. Register it as a self-hosted runner for GitHub Actions or GitLab, or as a Jenkins agent, and let every commit build without waiting for a shared machine.
- Self-hosted runners and build agents
- Several simulators side by side
- Several Xcode versions on one Mac

Code signing and notarization
Keep your signing certificates and provisioning profiles on one Mac you control. Archive and sign in Xcode, notarize macOS apps and installers with notarytool, and upload builds to App Store Connect and TestFlight.
- Certificates in the Mac's keychain
- Notarization for apps you distribute outside the App Store
- Uploads with Xcode, Transporter or fastlane
Machine learning and inference on Apple silicon
Every server is an Apple silicon Mac: the GPU and the Neural Engine work from its unified memory. Serve models with Ollama or llama.cpp, run MLX or Core ML, or train with PyTorch on the Metal (MPS) backend, on a machine that only your workloads use.
- MLX, Core ML, PyTorch and llama.cpp
- A private model endpoint for your team
- The memory of each plan listed with it
Rendering and video
Render 3D scenes in Blender with Metal, encode and transcode video with the Mac's hardware encoders through VideoToolbox and FFmpeg, or run DaVinci Resolve and Compressor jobs on a Mac that keeps working while you do something else.
Long-running macOS services
Some jobs only run on macOS. Keep them online on a dedicated Mac: launchd agents and scheduled automations, a shared build cache for your team, or file processing with Apple frameworks such as Vision, PDFKit or Core ML.

Mac dedicated server, macOS VDS or macOS VPS?
All three are Macs in our data centers that you reach remotely. A dedicated Mac is the whole physical computer; a VDS or VPS is a virtual Mac on shared Apple hardware.

Frequently asked questions
What is a Mac dedicated server?
A Mac dedicated server is a physical Mac Studio or Mac mini with Apple silicon in our data center that only you use. You get an administrator account, reach the Mac remotely and work on it like a Mac on your desk: install Xcode and your tools, run builds and services around the clock, and use the whole machine without sharing it with other customers.
How is it different from a macOS VPS or VDS?
A macOS VPS or VDS is a virtual Mac: a macOS virtual machine that shares Apple hardware with other virtual machines. A Mac dedicated server is the physical machine itself. Every CPU and GPU core and all of the memory and storage are yours, apps use the GPU through Metal with no virtualization layer in between, and tools that start their own virtual machines, such as Docker Desktop or the Android emulator, run on it. Choose a macOS VPS or VDS for a quick, flexible start and a dedicated Mac when you need the whole machine.
Which Mac models can I choose?
Our Mac dedicated servers are Mac Studio and Mac mini computers, every one with Apple silicon. Each plan on this page lists its configuration and its live price, so you can compare them before you order.
Do I get an administrator account?
Yes. You get an administrator account on macOS, so you can install Xcode, Homebrew, your build tools and your own services, and change the settings your work needs.
How do I connect to my Mac?
We email your login details as soon as your Mac is ready. Connect in your browser with the HyperDC Web Console, with Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) or with the HyperDC Remote Connect app. Inside macOS you can also turn on Remote Login (SSH) for your own tools and scripts.
Which macOS versions can I run?
The order form shows the macOS versions offered for each server. Choose the one that runs the Xcode release you need: Xcode 26, which App Store Connect has required for uploads since 28 April 2026, needs macOS Sequoia 15.6 or later. Every Mac dedicated server has Apple silicon, which macOS 27 and Xcode 27 require.
Can I run virtual machines or Docker Desktop on it?
Yes. Docker Desktop and virtual machines are allowed, and because a dedicated Mac is not a virtual machine itself, Docker Desktop, the Android emulator and tools that run macOS or Linux virtual machines work on it. Keep in mind that every virtual machine takes its share of the Mac's memory and storage.
Can I use it as a CI runner?
Yes. Register it as a self-hosted runner for GitHub Actions or GitLab, or as a Jenkins or Buildkite agent, and automate builds, tests, signing and uploads with tools such as fastlane. Because no other customer uses the machine, build times stay steady from one run to the next.
Can I sign and publish apps from it?
Yes. Keep your signing certificates in the Mac's keychain, archive and sign in Xcode, notarize macOS apps with notarytool and upload builds to App Store Connect. You need your own Apple Developer Program membership; since 28 April 2026, App Store Connect accepts apps built with Xcode 26 or later.
Can I run AI models on a Mac dedicated server?
Yes. Every Mac dedicated server has Apple silicon, where the GPU works from the Mac's unified memory, so frameworks such as MLX, llama.cpp, Ollama, Core ML and PyTorch with the Metal (MPS) backend can load models that need a lot of memory. The memory of each plan sets how large a model you can run, so check the plan list before you order.
Which billing cycles can I choose?
Every plan lists the billing cycles it is offered with. Switch the cycle above the plans to compare prices; longer cycles show the saving against monthly billing when there is one.
How do I pay?
Choose one of the payment methods offered at checkout. Every invoice also stays available in the client area, where you can pay it online.
Where do I manage my service after ordering?
Your service appears in the client area as soon as it is set up. From there you can manage it, pay invoices and open support tickets.
