cPanel & WHM licenses for your Linux VPS or VDS
cPanel is the control panel most web hosts and site owners already know. Add it when you order a Linux VPS or VDS, choose CloudLinux for stronger account isolation, and manage websites, email, databases and DNS without the command line.
Two panels in one license
WHM is where you manage the server: hosting accounts, packages, security settings and updates. Each hosting account then gets its own cPanel, where websites, mailboxes, databases, DNS records and SSL certificates are managed with a few clicks.
With HyperDC you add cPanel when you order a Linux VPS or VDS, either as the Control Panel option or by choosing the AlmaLinux 8 + cPanel image.

Frequently asked questions
What is cPanel?
cPanel & WHM is a web hosting control panel for Linux servers. WHM manages the server and its hosting accounts; cPanel gives each account its own panel for websites, email, databases, DNS and SSL.
How do I get cPanel on my server?
Choose cPanel or cPanel with CloudLinux in the Control Panel option when you order a Linux VPS or VDS, or pick the AlmaLinux 8 + cPanel image. The order form shows the monthly price of each option.
Which operating systems does cPanel support?
Current cPanel versions run on AlmaLinux, CloudLinux and Ubuntu 24.04 LTS. With HyperDC, start from the AlmaLinux 8 + cPanel image or install cPanel on AlmaLinux. Rocky Linux and Ubuntu 22.04 are no longer supported by cPanel.
What does CloudLinux add?
CloudLinux limits the CPU, memory and disk activity of each hosting account and isolates accounts from each other with CageFS, so one busy or compromised site cannot slow down or expose the rest of the server.
How is cPanel licensed?
cPanel licenses are priced by the number of cPanel accounts on the server and are tied to the server's public IP address. Tell us how many accounts you plan to host and we will confirm that the license fits.
Can I use a license on a server that is not hosted with you?
Contact us before ordering if your server is hosted elsewhere, and we will confirm whether the license can be issued for it.
Are control panel licenses refundable?
No. Our refund policy lists VPS licenses among the products that are not refunded, so check the panel you need before you order. The free panels let you try a panel-based setup at no cost.
