# Linux reseller hosting: your reseller panel under your own brand

> Run HyperDC Linux reseller hosting under your own name: open the reseller panel, give it your own address and logo, use your own nameservers and add customers.

Difficulty: Intermediate

Your Linux reseller service lets you sell hosting under your own name. You manage your allowance on your service page in the client area, and you and your customers work in your **reseller panel**, on port 2087 of its address, which opens with one click from your service page. Plans: [Linux reseller hosting](/linux-reseller-hosting).

## Your service page

Open the service under **Services › My Services**. Two tabs sit at the top:

- **Reseller Account**: your allowance and your panel's address, brand and nameservers.
- **My Website**: your own website, managed like any Linux hosting service; see [first steps on Linux hosting](/guides/linux-hosting-first-steps).

Under **Your allowance** you see your **Customers** and **Subscriptions**, the disk handed out and in use, and the add-on domains handed out. Your own website and your customers' subscriptions share this allowance; each one may have at most what your package gives one website.

## Step 1: Open your reseller panel

Under **Reseller Panel**, the **Reseller panel address** is shown with your **User name**. The password is this service's password. Select **Open Reseller Panel**. Only you and your own customers can sign in there.

## Step 2: Give the panel your own address

1. Under **Your own address**, select **Set Host Name** and enter a name of yours, such as `panel.example.com`.
2. Where you manage your domain's DNS, add the **A record** shown, and a TXT record with the **TXT record name** and **TXT record value** shown; it proves the name is yours.
3. Select **Verify**. The certificate follows within a few minutes.

If your domain is behind Cloudflare's proxy, the proxy may stay on: set its SSL/TLS mode to **Full (strict)**.

## Step 3: Use your own brand

Under **Panel Brand**, choose **My Own Brand** and confirm with **Use My Own Brand**. Your panel moves to your own address with your own title and logo once that address is verified and has its certificate. Set the title and logo inside the reseller panel. Your customers' websites, data and mail do not change.

**Use HyperDC Brand** switches your panel back to the HyperDC brand.

## Step 4: Use your own nameservers (optional)

Your customers' domains use our nameservers until you give them your own:

1. Choose two to four names, such as `ns1.example.com` and `ns2.example.com`.
2. Give each name an A record to the server's address shown, and the same address as its glue record where you registered the domain.
3. Under **Your Own Nameservers**, enter the names and select **Check And Save**. Each name is checked before it is used.

**Use Our Nameservers** goes back to ours. Domains registered with your names keep working only while those names point here.

## Step 5: Add your customers

In the reseller panel, create the customers and their subscriptions within your allowance, and give each customer the panel address with their user name and password. Each customer runs as a separate account: customers cannot reach each other or you.

## Frequently asked questions

### Do my customers see HyperDC anywhere?

Not with My Own Brand. Your panel then has your own address, title and logo, and your customers never see ours.

### Do my customers get a panel?

Yes. They sign in to your reseller panel at the same address, with the user name and password you give them, and see only their own services.

### How many customers can I have?

As many subscriptions as your plan allows. Your own website and your customers' subscriptions share the plan's allowance.

### Can I use my own nameservers?

Yes. Two to four names such as ns1.example.com, each with an A record to the server's address.
