How our locations work
24 data centers
Locations across North America, Europe and Asia.
Latency shown when you order
Pick the location in the order form, which estimates the latency from where you are to each data center.
Dedicated servers by country
Each country has its own page with live prices.
Status you can check
Each location shows its status here, and the network status page lists planned work and known issues.

Every request travels from your visitor to the server and back. Over fibre, that round trip takes roughly one millisecond for every hundred kilometres of cable, and real routes are longer than a straight line on a map. A server near most of your users shortens every page load, API call and remote desktop session.
Distance is not the only factor. If your data has to stay in a certain region, choose a location there, and for critical services consider a second location you can fail over to.
- Close to most of your users
- Inside the region your data rules require
- Tested from where your users are
- A second location for failover, if you need one
Test a location in four steps
-
Find out where your users are
Your analytics or server logs show the countries most of your visitors come from.
-
Measure from their side
Ping the test IP or use the looking glass a location card shows, from a machine in your users' region. No test IP yet? Ask us.
-
Compare the results
Look at typical round-trip times and how stable they are, not at one lucky ping.
-
Order with that location
Select the location in the order form. If your audience changes later, contact us to plan a move.
Dedicated servers by country
Each page lists the servers available in that country with live prices.
Nested dedicated servers
Dedicated resources with support for running your own virtual machines.

Frequently asked questions
Which data center locations can I choose?
The map and the location cards on this page list every location with the services available there. When you order a virtual server, the order form shows the locations offered for that plan. Dedicated servers are listed by country on their own pages.
How do I choose the right location?
Start with the location closest to most of your users: shorter distances mean lower latency for websites, applications, remote desktops and game servers. Then check any rules about where your data must be stored. Our guide to picking a data center location explains how to measure and compare.
Can I test a location before I order?
Yes. Where a location card shows a test IP or a looking glass, use it to measure latency from your users' region. If a card shows neither, send us a message before you order and tell us which location you would like to test.
Can I move my service to another location later?
Contact us through a support ticket. Moving a service usually means setting up a new server in the other location and migrating your data, so we will explain the steps and any cost before anything changes.
Is every service available in every location?
No. Each location card lists the services you can order there, and the order form of each plan shows its locations. Linux and Windows virtual servers have the widest choice; macOS servers, nested dedicated and GPU servers run in fewer locations.
How many data centers does HyperDC use?
Our services run in 24 data centers. The map shows the locations you can choose for virtual servers when you order; dedicated servers are offered by country on their own pages.
Does the location matter for data protection rules?
It can. Laws such as the GDPR set rules for transferring personal data to other countries, and some contracts require data to stay in a region. If your data has to stay in the European Union, choose a location there, such as Frankfurt, Amsterdam or Helsinki, and confirm your obligations with your legal adviser.
