> Run Coolify on your own server: git push deploys, one-click services, databases with backups and free Let’s Encrypt certificates on servers you control.

Deploy apps from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Gitea with a git push, start databases and hundreds of open-source services with one click, and get free Let’s Encrypt certificates automatically. The self-hosted version includes every feature; run it on a HyperDC server, preinstalled as an app option or with our guide.

- Git push deploys and pull request previews
- One-click databases and open-source services
- Automatic HTTPS with Let’s Encrypt
- Manage more servers over SSH from one panel

## Plans are being prepared

We are preparing ready-to-use plans for Coolify. Tell us how you will use it and how many users you expect, and we will reply with a server that fits. You can also start today on a Linux VPS and install it with our guide.

## Which server size fits?

Starting points for vCPU, memory and disk. Grow the server when your data and users grow.

## Your own Heroku, Vercel and Netlify alternative

A panel for the deploy workflow you know, on servers you pay for once.

### Deploy on push

Connect a repository and Coolify builds and deploys every push, with preview deployments for pull requests.

### Databases with backups

Start PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB or Redis in a click and back them up to S3-compatible storage on a schedule.

### One-click services

Install open-source apps such as n8n, Nextcloud, Plausible or Ghost from Coolify’s service catalogue.

### Several servers, one panel

Add more HyperDC servers over SSH and choose where each app runs.

### Full root access

Install what the app needs, change any setting and run more services next to it. Nothing is locked behind a panel.

### App option or step-by-step guide

Order the server with the app installed as an option, or set it up yourself on a clean Linux server with our guide.

### Near your users

Choose a data center in the United States, Europe or Asia. The order form estimates the latency from where you are to each location.

### Backups on VPS and VDS

Free weekly and monthly backups come with VPS and VDS plans. Keep your own copies of databases and app data as well.

## From order to first login

Order the app preinstalled on your server, or install it yourself with our guide.

1. ### Pick the server
Choose a size from the table above and the data center closest to the people who will use the app.
2. ### Add Coolify
Select Coolify as an app option when you order, or install it on a clean Ubuntu or Debian server with our guide.
3. ### Register the admin right away
Open the panel on port 8000 and register immediately: the first person to register becomes the admin with root access to the server.
4. ### Point a domain and enable HTTPS
Create a DNS record such as app.example.com for the server and put a reverse proxy with a free Let’s Encrypt certificate in front of the app.

## Step-by-step setup guides

Install, secure and update the app with our guides, written for current Ubuntu and Debian releases.

Self-host the Coolify platform on a fresh Ubuntu or Debian server: review and run the official installer, secure the first admin account, serve the dashboard on your domain, and keep it backed up and updated.

[Contact us](https://hyperdc.com/contact-us) [Open a ticket](https://hyperdc.com/support/new-ticket)

### Does the self-hosted version include every feature?

Yes. Self-hosted Coolify includes every feature, from git deploys and previews to databases, backups and several servers.

### Why must I register right after installing?

Coolify’s documentation warns that the first person to reach the registration page becomes the instance admin, with root access to the server. Register as soon as the installer finishes, before anyone else can find the address.

### Which operating system should I choose?

Coolify’s installation guide names Ubuntu LTS releases, with Ubuntu 24.04 LTS the newest one listed, and Debian-based systems in general. Choose Ubuntu 24.04 LTS for a clean start; the install script also installs Docker.

### How much server do I need?

The panel needs at least 2 cores, 2 GB of RAM and 10 GB of disk. Builds and the apps you deploy come on top, so plan 4 GB for a few small apps and 8 GB or more for several apps with databases.

### Which ports does Coolify use?

Port 8000 for the panel, 6001 for real-time updates, 6002 for the web terminal, 22 for SSH and 80 and 443 for your apps. After you put the panel on a domain through the proxy, you can close 8000, 6001 and 6002 in the firewall.

### How do I back up Coolify?

Schedule database backups to S3-compatible storage inside Coolify, and keep a copy of /data/coolify/source/.env, which holds the keys Coolify needs to restore. VPS and VDS plans also include free weekly and monthly backups.

### Coolify or Dokploy?

Both give you a self-hosted deploy panel with git deploys, databases and Let’s Encrypt. Coolify has a large one-click service catalogue and manages servers over SSH; Dokploy is built around Docker Compose and Docker Swarm with Traefik. Try the one whose workflow suits your team.
